offers complete baseline inventory services including ecosystem mapping and inventories. Ryan Durand has considerable experience completing inventories for conservation properties throughout BC for organizations such as the Nature Conservancy of BC, Islands Trust Fund, Land Trust Alliance of BC, and the Fraser Valley Conservancy.
Management
Plans. Taara Environmental can create
the appropriate management plan for nature reserves and protected areas, including conservation covenants.
Mr.
Durand has worked with land trusts since 1999. He has
conducted baseline inventories throughout the province
and given presentations and workshops in British Columbia
and Ontario. He has recently completed several projects for the Fraser Valley Conservancy including the creation of a Sensitive Ecosystems Inventory (SEI) of Sumas Mountain, the Deroche to Harrison Mills corridor, and southwestern Mission, along with involvement with the development of a Bioregional Strategy for the Fraser Valley and multiple assessments and inventories for specific conservation projects.
