Ryan Durand, BSc., Dip.T., RPBio.

Mr. Durand, the founder of Taara Environmental, holds a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science and a Diploma of Integrated Environmental Planning Technologies. He is a Registered Professional Biologist (RPBio).

Mr. Durand has been working in the environmental field since 1999 and is the author of three technical protocols on baseline inventories, mapping, and monitoring of nature reserves for land trusts. He has conducted numerous habitat assessments and rare species surveys, Terrestrial Ecosystem Mapping (TEM) and Sensitive Habitat Inventory Mapping (SHIM) projects, and many other projects involving biological inventories, mapping and technical writing. Mr. Durand is a proven project manager and has successfully completed multi-year data collection projects.

Mr. Durand contributes a significant amount of time to non-profit societies. His memberships include:
