Land Trust Services

Baseline Inventories. Taara Environmental offers complete baseline inventory services using either the specific methods of a land trust, or the Nature Conservancy of Canada/Habitat Acquisition Trust's Baseline Inventory Protocol (Durand, et. al, 2003).

Baseline and Monitoring Workshops. We are available to hold workshops to train land trusts how to conduct baseline inventories and monitoring.

Management Plans. Taara Environmental can create the appropriate management plan for specific covenanted or fee-simple properties.

Mr. Durand has worked with land trusts since 1999. He has conducted baseline inventories throughout the province and given presentations and workshops in British Columbia and Ontario. He is currently working on a province wide standardized baseline inventory guideline for the LTABC.
